GoDaddy Commerce Launch - NDA

The GoDaddy "Sell Anywhere" commerce is all about how to easily sell from your web store to in-person, online marketplaces to social platforms using a dashboards that give you a single place to manage all your sales.
A business can connect and manage all in-person and online sales using the Point of Sale system.
Accept in-person payments, including credit and debit cards, plus contactless payments. The product is currently available in US only.
As a Senior Design Lead for GoDaddy, I was tasked with the responsibility of globalization for the next launch in CA, UK and AU. I am unable to share much of the visuals since it is a product launch for later in the year but below is an overview providing a sneak peek at the scope of work.
My Role & Responsibilities

Working with the marketing team and the regions on specific strategies like wanting to show localized visuals or staggered product launch.

Partnering with UX for changes to the layout based on customized content.

Manage overall guidelines, timeline and vision.

Creating a process and delegating tasks amongst team members on tasks like

Partnering with legal for the various logo's of payment types and marketplaces.

Coordinating with the translations team to successfully sync with our visual timeline for images that require localized copy.

Overseeing and checking on brand and translations to ensure we receive device images with translated UIs on time.

Sync with the video team for updates and edits since we cannot showcase religious symbols or specific tattoo in certain markets like FR-CA.

Coordinate with the copy team to receive all the messaging in time for final comp build-outs.

I had to ensure the team has everything they need to get assets ready. Manage multiple dependencies and moving parts.

All the translations for visuals. This is a multilingual product and showing localized visuals in top tier markets is valuable.

Ensure all details are addressed, for example religious symbols in visuals that don't work in all markets, currency and price formatting or even appropriate pricing amounts.

Credit card availability and legal logo usage and payment method availability and marketplaces had to be customized for CA vs UK and AU.

Localized spelling for common words (colour, neighbourhood, etc) American VS British English.

Also date and time formatting which vary from country to country.
